Short Biography


Kambiz [Alireza] Aghili serves as the Engineering Manager in the Query Optimizer Team at Teradata Corporation, actively working on the design, development and delivery of highly scalable, complex and very large databases, active data warehousing, OLAP and parallel query processing functionalities. Prior to his current role, he served at Project Management and Senior Software Engineer Capacities.

Mostly recently, he has been pursuing his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and the Anderson School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at the University of California in Santa Barbara in 2005, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) and Bilkent University in Ankara-Turkey, respectively.
