Photography is the real thread of the memory of mankind, an awakening. You see the old people that, once they look at their old photographs a lamenting melody starts to blow in the air. It transforms people into a world of imagination, dream, nostalgic fantasies, undiscovered memories, and the fading intimate corners of one's heart and soul. I am a minimalist, in that I enjoy distracting myself from the surroundings by using a plain background and falling into what happens between the subject and me. Photography, carries me up to that pick, to that moment of uncertainty and illusion for some, clearly trapped in a unique compositional perspective of my own. I enjoy discovering what some people try to hide away from each other, the mysteries, marginal boundaries, extreme tendencies, beauty and seduction. I study the anatomy of aging, suffering, fear of death and loneliness; all of which are unbearably painful, to some. I feel myself intensely fascinated by the journey from the inner self to the facial gestures and physical expression. A close look at the inner truth using minimum compositional means to discover the conundrum and paradox of frailties.
